Our staff:

Work with higher behavior students living with autism Provide various levels of personal care Are scheduled day shift, 7:45-4:15 - no nights or weekends We offer: $22 - 23 per hour 80 hours of PTO Free dental insurance Medical, Vision & disabilty benefits State pension plan We partner with staff to meet Highly Qualified requirements Similar positions: Direct support para, DSP, PCA, Personal Care Assistant

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High school degree or equivalent Ability to operate a computer and the software necessary to complete the required job tasks Valid driver's license/ability to transport students via school vehicle (must have 3 or less moving violations in the last three years and no DWI/DUI convictions within the past 5 years).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

2 year degree or a minimum of 60 college credits OR successful completion of the ParaPro exam. We partner with staff to meet Highly Qualified requirements. Knowledge and experience working with students on the autism spectrum and low incidence disabilities. One year previous experience in a middle school, high school setting or transition setting.
