Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Make a direct impact in the classroom by supporting students and teachers as a paraprofessional in a dynamic elementary school environment. Multiple openings are available for highly-qualified professionals to work collaboratively on a team dedicated to student success. This contract-based opportunity offers the potential to become a direct hire after a successful 90-day period.

Key Qualifications:

Must meet one of the following requirements to be "highly-qualified": Pass the MN Para Educator Exam (proof of passing score) OR possess at least 60 college credits (official transcripts required; diplomas or photos of degrees not accepted) Candidates must submit both a current resume and a qualifying document (exam score or transcripts) to be considered Previous experience as a paraprofessional, especially in school settings, is preferred Ability and willingness to assist with student toileting and personal care needs Flexible, collaborative, and able to adapt to changing schedules and priorities

Role Responsibilities:

Provide instructional and behavioral support to individuals or small groups, primarily in a resource setting or center-based classroom Support different grade levels throughout the day, as assigned Work closely with licensed staff to implement lesson plans and facilitate classroom activities Foster a positive and inclusive climate, promoting social and emotional growth Uphold confidentiality and professional standards at all times Why Consider This Role?
