Key Qualifications:

Minimum of one years experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting High school diploma or equivalent required Must meet at least one of the following: Completed at least two years (60 semester credits) of college coursework at an accredited institution Hold an associate degree or higher Pass an approved basic skills assessment (such as the ParaPro with a score of 455 or higher, or the ParaEducator with at least 65% on Instructional Support and 70% on Knowledge and Application) Strong communication skills, patience, and an interest in supporting middle school students

Role Responsibilities:

Collaborate with teachers and student services staff to deliver individualized support to students in a resource classroom environment Assist with instructional tasks, classroom management, and student supervision during school hours (7:15 AM 2:15 PM, Monday through Friday) Support students educational and social development with compassion and consistency Model positive behaviors and reinforce classroom routines This contract means youll gain valuable experience and make a meaningful impact on students lives, all while maintaining a regular weekday schedule throughout the academic year.
