Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful role supporting middle school students across several vibrant educational communities in the Osseo, MN area. This full-time contract position offers an opportunity to make a real impact assisting students in their academic and personal growth as a paraprofessional. Multiple school sites are available, each with its own collaborative team, so you can indicate your preferred location and be matched with the environment that best fits your interests.
What You'll Bring:
Highly qualified status as a Paraprofessional, required prior to presentation (either passing the MN Para Educator Exam or 60+ college credits with official transcripts) Prior experience working with middle school students or in special education environments is highly valued Flexibility, strong communication skills, and the ability to follow support plans for students Willingness to assist in all aspects of student support—including toileting needs, as this is an expectation for all support staff
Your Key Responsibilities:
Provide daily academic, social, and behavioral support to students as directed by teachers and team leaders Assist with individual and small group instruction and classroom management Support students in various settings throughout the school day, both in and out of the classroom Foster an inclusive, positive climate aligned with each school's mission and expectations Maintain confidentiality and uphold district policies in all interactions
Perks & Contract Details:
Steady Monday-Friday schedule, 32.5 hours per week Contract period runs approximately August 31, 2026, to November 29, 2026, with the opportunity for direct hire conversion after 422 hours Compensation is set at $20 per hour for all candidates, with direct hire opportunities to follow Ready to make a difference and further your career as a valued support professional?
