High school diploma or equivalent, along with one of the following: Completion of at least two years (60 credits) of college coursework from an accredited institution, Associate degree or higher, Passing score on a recognized assessment, such as the ParaPro Assessment (minimum 455) or ParaEducator assessments (Instructional Support minimum 65% and Knowledge/Application minimum 70%). Strong communication skills, patience, and an eagerness to work with middle school-aged students in a resource classroom.
