Key Qualifications:

Active Missouri Substitute Certificate on DESE website or completion of ParaPro Exam with transcripts on file (required prior to district interview) Demonstrated experience supporting students in special education, including comfort with toileting, changing, and managing behavioral needs Flexibility to float among multiple sites—assignments can change as needed throughout the school year Strong collaboration skills to work with teachers, aides, therapists, and other educational staff Ability to implement individualized behavior intervention plans and instructional strategies to foster student achievement and safety

Role Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 or classroom support to K-12 students, adapting to grade-level and classroom needs Foster a supportive learning atmosphere, maintaining respect and dignity for all students Respond calmly and helpfully to behavioral incidents, following pre-established intervention plans Partner closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure consistent delivery of educational services

Position Details:
