This contract opportunity focuses on providing 1:1 assistance to two female studentsa 4th grader and an 11th graderboth of whom are medically fragile. Youll be vital to their daily activities, supporting their academic and personal care needs and helping them thrive in the classroom. Summary of Role Deliver direct 1:1 support to two students with medical and physical care needs Assist with toileting and diapering, ensuring dignity and comfort at all times Support one student with behavioral needs, working alongside school staff to implement individualized strategies Utilize equipment such as a hoyer lift (training provided if you are unfamiliar) Foster an engaging, safe, and respectful environment that helps students achieve their educational goals Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to provide comprehensive support Desired Qualifications Prior experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support role Comfort assisting with personal care tasks, including toileting and diapering Patience, empathy, and adaptability when supporting students with unique medical and behavioral needs Willingness to learn new skills, including use of adaptive equipment Strong team player with good communication skills Reliability and professionalism in a school setting Schedule and Details Building hours: 8:45 am 4:15 pm
