9669392-64068 Job Description Support students in a rewarding educational environment as a contract paraprofessional, working directly with two amazing students with unique needs. This opportunity centers on one-on-one support for a 4th grade and an 11th grade female studentboth of whom are medically fragile. Your patience, compassion, and attention will help empower these students to achieve greater independence and access their education fully.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

Previous experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting is preferred. Comfortable with 1:1 support, including assisting with toileting and diapering for medically fragile students. Familiarity with behavioral management, particularly for students with complex needs. Experience using a Hoyer lift is a plus; training available if needed. Ability to maintain professionalism, discretion, and patience throughout the school day. Willingness to collaborate with special education staff, classroom teachers, and therapists.

Responsibilities Include:

Providing dedicated 1:1 assistance to assigned students throughout the school day. Supporting safety, participation, and personal care, including medical needs and toileting. Facilitating positive peer interactions and behavioral support plans as needed. Attending Tuesday team meetings at 8:00 am; standard building hours are 8:45 am to 4:15 pm. Working closely with educators and related service providers to implement students individualized education plans. Maintaining clear communication with school staff and contributing to a supportive educational environment.
