Salary:
$17.81 - $24.43 per hour Pay band I300 Pay rate is determined by years of experience, on a step per year basis (Hourly Support Staff Salary Schedule)
Job Summary:

Qualifications:
Ability to organize and assist with classroom lessons and materials in a variety of subject areas Knowledge of the methods, techniques, and procedures used in teaching and supporting English learners Desire to work with and educate middle school students in small groups and individually Desire to work with and follow direction from content area teachers and specialists in classroom settings Ability to motivate and encourage others, be creative, flexible, and patient Fluent Spanish-speaker preferred In order to work under the direct supervision of an appropriately certified teacher to provide instructional assistance, paraprofessionals are require to: Obtain 60 college credit hours, or Have passed the ParaPro Assessment (before September 23, 2013) or Have passed the Paraprofessional Assessment through Pearson (September 23, 2013 through June 20, 2024) or Have passed the ParaPro Assessment through ETS (July 1, 2024 forward) or Completed the 20HR Substitute Certificate Course Why Join Us?
