Job Description

Take on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting a high school senior who thrives with consistent, caring guidance. In this paraprofessional role, youll provide one-on-one assistance, emotional support, and academic help, fostering a positive and productive school experience.
Key Qualifications:
Experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support role Ability to offer patient emotional support, especially when students may be hesitant to accept help Comfortable providing transit companionship and facilitating a safe, structured daily routine Strong communication skills and the capability to collaborate with educators and school teams Reliable, punctual, and able to meet the schedule requirements, including daily travel
Role Responsibilities:
Start each weekday morning at the main school location and ride the district bus with the student to a specialized academy in Dover, NH, providing attentive standby support during transit and throughout the school day (MondayThursday) Accompany the student back to the base school in the afternoons, helping her complete primarily history coursework and other academic tasks as needed On Fridays, accompany the student to a car detailing internship, offering encouragement and emotional support throughout her shift Step in for additional flexible duties at the school on days when direct student support is not required Ensure all duties are performed with care, advocacy, and sensitivity to the students preferences and needs This position offers 3537 hours per week on a contract basis, with an immediate start so you can complete mandatory district training.
