Helps teachers with recordkeeping, preparation for lessons and activities and supervising students. May work with special education students, or work in a school library or computer lab; may be called teacher aide or paraprofessional.

Job Description
State of the art Montessori school seeking a Full-time Teacher Assistant. The hours are from 8:00am - 3:00pm. Must have experience caring for children, as well as:
- A strong work ethic and desire to meet the needs of children
- Montessori experience is a plus
- Experience working with children from infants to school age
- Willingness to take direction and learn about our unique approach
- Ability to work/collaborate/ follow the direction of a Head Teacher
- Work well with other teachers and assistants to promote our programs
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, highly organized, team player
- Loving, caring, compassionate, and patient
- Punctual, dependable, patient, enthusiastic, flexible
- Ability to communicate effectively with children and other staff
