Our mission is to create long-term positive change in the lives of children with autism spectrum disorder by enhancing their learning, language, and social development while also supporting families. Summary We are seeking a Paraprofessional to join our team at Minding Miracles Learning Center. In this role, you will support the educational and developmental needs of children in a classroom setting, contributing to their growth and success. Your work will be vital in fostering a nurturing environment that promotes learning and positive behavior. Responsibilities Assist teachers in implementing educational programs tailored to meet the needs of individual students. Support children with developmental and behavioral needs in their daily activities and learning tasks. Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies. Facilitate communication between students and teachers to enhance understanding. Provide care and supervision during classroom activities and transitions. Help create a safe and engaging learning environment for all students. Requirements Experience in childhood development or education preferred. Strong understanding of literacy education techniques. Ability to manage a classroom effectively and maintain a positive atmosphere. Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, families, and staff. Experience working with children with special needs is a plus.
