Full Job Description Teacher Assistant Responsibilities:
  • Assist the teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
  • Assist with christian-based child care and education
  • Provide support to students with special needs
  • Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Assist in classroom management and behavior management strategies
  • Support students in their academic and social development
  • Assist with record keeping and documentation of student progress
  • Provide one-on-one or small group instruction as needed
  • Help maintain a safe and clean classroom environment CARE for Children and Families NURTURE the whole child ACHIEVE kindergarten readiness PROMOTE spiritual formation
Qualifications :
  • Experience working with children
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to walk, sit, stand, and get on the ground with the children
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help children learn and grow
  • Must be able to walk, sit, stand, move on floor, and carry 30lbs. The ideal candidate will have childcare experience, be kind, friendly and a team player. Excellent attendance is a must! Flexible working hours between 6:30 a.m.
