A Teacher Assistant assists classroom teachers by providing extra individual attention and instruction to students. Helps teachers with recordkeeping, preparation for lessons and activities and supervising students. May work with special education students, or work in a school library or computer lab; may be called teacher aide or paraprofessional.

Job Description
8:20-1:35 Monday
- Friday At The Opportunity Pre-School, we are dedicated to providing Early Intervention and Pre-School Services to all families, fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment for children with special needs and typically developing children.
Responsibilities:
- Under the Direct Supervision of the Classroom Teacher
- Assist the teacher in implementing lesson plans for preschool special education children
- Support children in their educational and developmental goals
- Provide one-on-one support to children
- Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies
- Assist in monitoring children's progress and documenting observations
- Help organize materials and maintain a clean, safe classroom environment
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children.
- Familiarity with childhood development principles.
