Job Description
$17.00 to $18.00 per hour, plus bonuses. Building Kidz of Queensbury is hiring an assistant childcare teacher for our Luzerne Road center. You will work alongside our lead teachers across our infant, toddler, and preschool rooms. No degree required. If you have worked in a daycare, run a camp group, or watched other people's kids and were good at it, you can do this job. Most people start at $17. Licensed-center experience or a current CDA moves you up from there. The schedule Full-time, Monday through Friday, one 8 to 9 hour shift each day between 6:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Guaranteed 38-40 paid hours per week. No nights, no weekends. Unexpected callouts occasionally create a same-day shift change. When we know earlier, we tell you earlier. If we need you past your scheduled end time, we ask first and pay for all time worked. Our curriculum is built around performing arts, so if you can sing off-key in front of a room of two-year-olds, you will do well here.
