Job Description

Come join our team at Warren County Head Start in providing high quality early childhood education to children, families, and our community! This job is located in our SUNY Adirondack Center!
Position Overview:
The teacher is the lead educator in the classroom and is responsible for curriculum planning, record keeping, report writing, and administering of screenings and assessments. Responsible for planning experiences and activities that are developmentally appropriate, individualized and consistent with designated curriculum. Engages in high quality staff to child interaction and staff to staff interactions Encourages parent participation in all aspects of the program Uses authentic assessment techniques, including anecdotal notes, to plan for individual children
Qualifications:
CDA, Associates, Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field and experience working with young children. $20-21/hr depending on education level. For more information visit our website at www.wchsny.org
