In this dynamic role, you will support classroom teachers across various early childhood and elementary settings, ensuring a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging environment for all students. Your energy and commitment will help foster positive learning experiences, especially for children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or on the autism spectrum. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in classroom management, childhood development, and specialized education techniques while making a meaningful difference in young learners' lives. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans focused on literacy, math, and other core subjects aligned with early childhood education standards Support classroom management by maintaining a positive environment and encouraging appropriate behavior through effective behavior management strategies Work closely with children to promote social-emotional development, mentoring them through individual and group activities Provide one-on-one tutoring or support for students requiring additional help in reading, writing, or math skills Help prepare instructional materials and proofread educational resources to ensure accuracy and clarity Support children with disabilities or autism by adapting activities and providing personalized assistance to foster inclusion and participation Maintain open communication with teachers, parents, and specialists to track progress and address student needs effectively Experience Prior classroom experience working with children in early childhood or elementary settings is highly preferred Experience supporting students with special needs, including those with autism or behavioral challenges Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in classroom management Familiarity with literacy education, math instruction, and tutoring techniques Background in working with individuals with disabilities or special education programs is advantageous Private school experience or Montessori training is a plus but not required Strong communication skills, patience, and a proactive attitude are essential for success in this role Join us as a Floater / Teacher Assistant to inspire young minds and support educators in creating a joyful learning environment.
