Role Description We are seeking multiple teachers. Schedule TBD. Part time Infant Teacher working with ages 6 weeks-18 months Part time Toddler Teacher working with our wobblers (12 months to 24 months) or toddlers 24 months to 42 months (3.5) Part time Preschool Assistant Teacher working with ages 3-5 years old Substitute Teachers
  • This is a part time on-site Substitute Teacher role with our children at Tip Tap Grow Performing Arts Preschool located in Eugene, OR.
The Substitute Teacher will be on call for our infants (6wks-1yr), wobblers (1yr-2yrs), toddlers (2yrs-3.5yrs), or preschool (3yrs-5yrs) rooms The Teacher will be responsible for creating and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans, overseeing children's daily activities, communicating with parents and other staff members, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all students. Qualifications
  • Teacher Qualified
  • 750hrs or more working with toddlers AND Associate's Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
  • Experience working with young children in a classroom setting
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans
  • Experience in conflict resolution and problem-solving
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members and parents
  • Passionate about teaching and creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Up-to-date knowledge of best practices in early childhood education Qualified candidates must be willing to:
  • Demonstrate dedication to the practice of the Tip Tap Grow's educational philosophy
  • Complete Tip Tap Grow's teacher training within 90 days of being hired
  • Commit to leading a culture of lifelong learning by personal example
  • Demonstrate a collaborative style of leadership
  • Demonstrate excellent communications skills and leadership qualities
  • Participate in all performing arts classes to assist master teachers and redirect children as needed
  • Attend all scheduled performances BIPoC & Bilingual Spanish speaking teachers strongly encouraged to apply!
Pay:
$15.15
