DAYS OF WEEK:

Tuesday & Thursday We are seeking an experienced teacher to join our small, nurturing Montessori classroom. The program consists of a small group of children, mixed ages, 3-6. The Afternoon Assistant teacher works under the direction of the Head Teacher to assist during naptime, outdoor play. This position is a school year commitment, September - mid June. Responsibilities

• Supervise children during lunch, nap, outdoor and indoor play
• dismissal
• light cleaning and classroom maintenance Qualifications
• Minimum of high school diploma, college preferred
• previous child care experience necessary
• FBI, State, and Child Abuse, & NSOR Clearances
• Physical with negative TB test
• First Aid/CPR Certification or willingness to obtain
• 2 written references
• Fire safety training or willingness to obtain
• Obtain/maintain 12 hours annual training
• Basics in Childcare Training (10 hours)
