Key Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of paraprofessional experience in a school special education program (PreK12) with severe autism and behavioral needs, clearly detailed on your resume Ability to commit to a full-time MondayFriday schedule (7:30 AM3:00 PM or 8:00 AM3:30 PM), with a mandatory orientation week (8:30 AM4:30 PM) prior to starting Comfortable working in settings where students may display aggressive or self-injurious behaviors and require intensive safety interventions Willingness to assist with personal care routines including toileting, feeding, transfers, and active daily support
Commute:
Must reside within 35 minutes of the school area with reliable transportation Must meet PA paraprofessional requirements (two years post-secondary study, associates degree, or the state/local assessment option). If not, readiness to complete required certification within the first 60 days is essential Completion of all clearances and references prior to start, per onboarding protocols
