We are searching for a passionate and loving Infant and Toddler Assistant Teacher's to join our team! We are looking for assistants for both infant and toddler age ranges. The ideal candidate will have the ability to collaborate to foster a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. Candidates will assist in implementing activities that stress physical, social, and emotional growth that allow children to explore and grow. Responsibilities Assist children in small groups or individually to keep them on-task Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem Encourage children to interact with each other and assist them with conflict resoluciton Supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum Communicate with parents regularly Collaborate with other educators Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards Assists with diapering, toileting, naptime, and/or mealtimes Capable of leading the classroom in the lead teacher's absence Skills 2 years of experience working with children Knowledge of child development Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms Excellent communication skills Ability to act as a mediator between children Patient, warm, and friendly
