Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in students' lives as a Paraprofessional supporting young learners in a vibrant school setting near Hazleton, PA. This full-time contract position offers an opportunity to build vital educational and life skills, working directly with individual students throughout the school year. We are seeking candidates with previous school experience to begin August 21, 2026 and continue through June 4, 2027. Multiple roles are available within high school, technical, and elementary environments, each focused on providing one-on-one support tailored to the unique needs of assigned students.
Key Qualifications:
Prior experience as a paraprofessional or similar role in a school setting is essential Strong comfort and effectiveness with managing behavioral and physical needs Ability to maintain student engagement and safety, especially in routine-driven or high-behavioral environments Compassionate, patient, and dependable demeanor Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and supporting school policies Flexibility to work weekday shifts (approx. 7:15am - 3:00pm, 35 hours/week) This opportunity is targeted for local candidates; travel professionals are not being considered
