STS is now hiring full time (10-month) Paraprofessionals for the 2026-2027 school year in Pequea Valley School District. STS is also seeking to build its substitute pool for Paraprofessionals, apply for either role!

Overview of Position:

Support students and teachers by providing instructional, behavioral, and academic assistance in a classroom setting. Paraprofessionals work collaboratively with teachers and school staff to foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment while helping students achieve their educational goals.

Required Credentials & Documents:

Proof of Education

• High School Diploma and will complete the PDE Standards for becoming Highly Qualified within the first year of employment. Pennsylvania Criminal Records check (Act 34)

Schedule & Hours:

Full Time (10-month) Paraprofessionals follow a set schedule and are required to work Monday through Friday. Substitute Paraprofessionals communicate directly with the STS Supervisor to determine availability. Hours by

8:30am-4:00pm ~Secondary (MS/HS): 7:15am-3:00pm Starting pay rate is $16.00 per hour, however, may be negotiable based upon applicable experience and qualifications.
