As a dedicated paraprofessional, you'll play a vital role in assisting students and collaborating with classroom teachers to foster an inclusive and engaging learning atmosphere. This position offers two different schedules tailored to your preference and experience: work with 5th and 6th graders from 8:05am to 3:20pm (36.25 hours/week), or support elementary students from 8:30am to 4:00pm (37.5 hours/week). Both schedules include a paid 30-minute lunch to recharge during your day.

Key Qualifications:

Previous school-based experience working with children in an academic setting Reliable transportation to commute to the assignment High School Diploma, GED, or a college degree Valid, up-to-date PA Clearances (or willingness to update them promptly) Current CPR/First Aid Certification (CPR certification must be completed in person) A positive attitude, flexibility, and strong communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Assist classroom teachers with instructional activities and classroom management Support individual or small groups of students with assignments and behavioral goals Foster a safe and supportive classroom environment Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) when needed Supervise students during transitions, break times, and lunch periods Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times The hourly compensation for this position is $25.
