Job Description

We are hiring for Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to help support an Intermediate Unit in Chester County, PA. Chester County, PA Starting Pay:

$18-20hr

School Schedule:

Monday-Friday between 7 AM - 4

PM Estimated Duration:

August 2026 - June 2027 (10-month contract) Provides classroom, behavioral, and personal care support to students in Autism Support, Emotional Support, and Multiple Disabilities programs across elementary and secondary school settings. The PCA provides direct support to students throughout the school day, assisting with classroom participation, behavioral needs, personal care, and daily activities while working closely with teachers and support staff. Candidates should have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, be available to work the full school day Monday through Friday and possess strong communication and documentation skills to support student progress and required reporting. This role requires providing both personal care and behavioral support to students in a school-based setting.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent Ability to obtain a Child Abuse Clearance & Criminal Record Clearance Active PCA OR Must be willing to enroll and obtain PCA certification prior to starting (12-hour course) 1+ year of experience working with children or individuals with disabilities Reliable transportation and valid driver's license

Pay:

From $18.00 per hour
