Job Description

Make a meaningful impact supporting elementary students as an ABA Paraprofessional! A full-time contract opportunity is available with assignments likely at the elementary level and caseloads tailored to your strengths after the interview process. Key Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of behavioral support experience required High school diploma or GED mandatory Completion of a RIDE-approved Teacher Assistant Training Program (unless exempted by higher education) Fulfill at least one of the following: ParaPathways Assessment scores: 332+ Reading/Writing and 334+ Math 48+ completed college credits from an accredited institution Associates degree or higher Preference for candidates with a completed National BCI for quick onboarding
Role Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one or small group behavioral and academic support, primarily to elementary students Collaborate with teachers and school staff to implement individual education and behavior intervention plans Support social, emotional, and academic development of students within classroom or resource settings Document progress, observations, and behavioral responses according to school and district guidelines Adapt and respond to student needs under the guidance of certified staff
