9650784-02895 Job Description Unlock a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a paraprofessional in a dynamic, collaborative school environment near Woonsocket, RI. Positions are available at the high school, middle school, elementary, and kindergarten levels, beginning August 31, 2026, through June 10, 2027. This role is essential in providing classroom assistance and contributing to student success.

Multiple paraprofessional positions are open:

High School:

5 positions, 8:00 am2:15 pm, MondayFriday.

Middle School:

3 positions, 7:05 am2:00 pm, MondayFriday.

Elementary:

12 positions, 8:30 am3:00 pm or 9:15 am3:30 pm, MondayFriday.

Kindergarten:

17 positions, 8:30 am3:00 pm, MondayFriday. All roles offer approximately 32 hours per week throughout the school year.

What youll need to succeed:

A valid Rhode Island Teacher Assistant (RI TA) Certification, or a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential with prior schools experience. Experience working in educational or childcare settings preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for supporting teachers and engaging with students. An approachable, patient, and adaptable attitude, with the ability to collaborate and work independently as required. Reliability and commitment to the entirety of the contract period.

Daily responsibilities:

Assist classroom teachers with instructional and behavioral support. Support students with special needs or individualized education plans (IEPs) as directed. Monitor student activities to promote a positive and safe classroom environment. Take part in school events, meetings, or professional development as requested.
