Job Description
Overview Join Little Folks of Fourth's early childhood education team as a Part-Time Preschool Teachers Aide, dedicated to fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. In this role, you will support our 2 lead teachers in implementing educational activities, managing classroom behavior, and ensuring the safety and well-being of every student. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in daily duties (cleaning, preperation, transitions) Support classroom management by supervising children during activities, transitions, and outdoor play to ensure safety and positive behavior. Foster an inclusive environment by working effectively with children of diverse backgrounds, including those with disabilities or special needs such as autism. Play on floor with 1k students. Assist in snack time, cleaning and daily routines. Follow regulations provided by ABC and DSS. Skills Experience working with children in early childhood education settings or classroom environments. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management strategies, and classroom behavior management techniques. Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration. Ability to supervise children actively while demonstrating patience, empathy, and enthusiasm. Proficiency in using computers and educational technologies to support teaching activities. Knowledge of educational compliance standards and regulations such as the ABC Quality and DSS. Pediatric first aid and CPR certification to ensure safety in emergency situations. High energy and able to move quickly as well as get up and down from floor without support.
