Minimum Qualifications Valid Ohio Department of Education Educational Aide License/Permit (or ability to obtain one). Meets all state and federal qualification requirements, including an approved degree, required college coursework, or an acceptable score on an approved professional standards assessment. Demonstrates professionalism, reliability, resilience, and a commitment to high performance. Maintains a record free of criminal violations that would prohibit employment in an Ohio public school. Preferred Qualities Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Self-motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented. Positive, collaborative, and committed to supporting student success. Key Responsibilities Provide valuable non-teaching support as an active member of the educational team. Assist in creating a safe, positive, and productive learning environment. Communicate effectively with staff, students, and families. Demonstrate initiative, professionalism, and attention to detail in daily responsibilities. Participate in professional learning opportunities to enhance job knowledge and skills. Maintain familiarity with emergency preparedness and response procedures.
