Brookwood Preschool Academy is a warm and nurturing Christian preschool dedicated to caring for children from birth through 4K. We are seeking energetic and passionate Lead and Assistant Teachers to join our vibrant team. These roles offer an exciting opportunity to inspire young learners, support their early childhood development, and create engaging educational experiences. Paid positions are available, including internships, with a focus on nurturing children's growth through innovative teaching methods and compassionate care. Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills. Create a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies. Engage children in meaningful activities that support early intervention, special education needs, and overall childhood development. Collaborate with team members to design lesson plans that incorporate Montessori principles and other educational frameworks. Monitor and assess student progress using standardized testing methods and provide tailored tutoring or support as needed. Maintain open communication with parents about their child's progress, behavior, and welfare. Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment that adheres to child welfare standards. Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is essential. Demonstrated classroom management skills and experience with lesson planning for early childhood education. Knowledge of curriculum development, literacy education, and teaching physical education techniques. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and connect with young learners. Previous private school or daycare experience is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm for ongoing learning is essential.
