Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Infant / Toddler Teacher Aide to support early childhood education in a nurturing classroom environment. The ideal candidate will assist lead teachers in providing high-quality care and developmentally appropriate activities for infants and toddlers. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on young children's growth and learning while gaining valuable experience in early childhood education. Duties Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, and nap times for infants and toddlers Support classroom activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development Help implement age-appropriate lesson plans under the supervision of lead teachers Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging environment for children Observe and document children's progress and behaviors to inform teaching strategies Support behavior management techniques to foster positive interactions among children Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures when necessary Communicate effectively with parents and team members regarding children's needs and progress Skills Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Familiarity with infant care, toddler care, and classroom management techniques Ability to implement behavior management strategies effectively Certification or training in first aid is preferred Experience with special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus Strong caregiving skills, patience, and a nurturing attitude Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and engage with children effectively Ability to adapt to the needs of individual children and support inclusive learning environments
Pay:
$13.00 - $17.00 per hour
