Skies the Limit Academy, LLC, a federal government contractor and childcare services provider, is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and enthusiastic Infant Teacher Assistant to join our team at our childcare center located on the Fort Meade VA Medical Campus! We are looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about infant care and committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for our youngest learners. Key Responsibilities Assist the Lead Infant Teacher with daily classroom activities, routines, and individualized infant care. Provide attentive, nurturing care, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and supporting infants' daily needs. Support age-appropriate activities that encourage infants' physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. Follow safe sleep practices, sanitation procedures, and applicable childcare licensing requirements. Maintain a clean, safe, and engaging classroom environment. Build positive relationships with infants, families, and coworkers. Assist with classroom documentation, daily communication, and maintaining required staffing ratios. Qualifications Previous experience working with infants or in a licensed childcare center preferred. Educational background in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred. Patience, dependability, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for working with infants. Ability to work collaboratively with classroom staff and follow established childcare policies and procedures. Must successfully complete and maintain eligibility through all required state and federal background checks, including those required for employment at a federal facility. Why Join Our Team?
