Skies the Limit Academy , LLC, a federal government contractor and childcare services provider, is seeking a dependable and enthusiastic Part-Time Float / Teacher Assistant to join our team at our childcare center located on the Fort Meade VA Medical Campus. We are looking for a flexible, motivated individual who enjoys working with children of various ages and is passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. Responsibilities Assist classroom teachers with age-appropriate activities that support children's growth and development. Provide classroom support across various age groups based on daily staffing needs. Maintain a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment. Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers. Assist with daily routines, classroom supervision, and positive child guidance. Support classroom coverage, including staff breaks and absences, while maintaining required staffing ratios. Assist with classroom cleaning, sanitizing, and other daily operational needs. Qualifications Previous experience working with children or in a licensed childcare center preferred. Ability to work with children of various ages and adapt to changing classroom needs. Dependable, flexible, and able to work collaboratively with classroom staff. Must successfully complete and maintain eligibility through all required state and federal background checks, including those required for employment at a federal facility. Join Our Team!
