Job Description

Prince William County Public Schools (PWCS) We are currently hiring School Therapy Aides (STAs) to support speech-language services and student success within PWCS .
Pay:
$21.00 per hour,
Monday-Friday Available Openings:
Woodbridge and Gainesville/Manassas (Elementary and Middle School openings)
Position Summary:
The School Therapy Aide works directly with students requiring instructional, behavioral, and therapeutic support under the supervision of the speech-language pathologist, special education department, teacher, or designated school supervisor. The aide assists in implementing therapy activities, supporting student communication goals, documenting progress, and helping create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities may also include assisting students with personal care, physical mobility, and other therapeutic needs as directed by educational and healthcare professionals.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required Must be at least 18 years of age Ability to comply with all relevant professional standards and school policies Current CPR certification (if applicable) TB Questionnaire, PPD, or Chest X-Ray (if applicable) Current Health Certificate (per contract or state requirements) Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements Why Join Us?
