Job Description
Matthew's Center is a non-profit organization, education-based organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of children and families affected by autism and related disabilities. We contract with many jurisdictions and parents to provide 1:1 data-driven instruction. The primary focus is placed on the development and improvement of functional communication skills, daily living skills, play/social skills, and implementing an effective behavior intervention plan based on positive behavioral supports. Skills are taught using ABA techniques in a natural environment. We are currently in search of a Teaching Assistant to perform support tasks to provide assistance to teacher and lead teaching assistant in the implementation of effective instructional practices based on the needs identified in students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Assists in the daily management of the students.
