Aug 20, 2026 Job Description Classroom Paraeducator Position The Windham Southeast School District (WSESD)/Windham Southeast Supervisory Union (WSESU) is an increasingly diverse community with an ongoing commitment to social justice and anti-racism. We are looking for enthusiastic professionals to join us in furthering this work. www.wsesu.org/socjus Oak Grove School, in Brattleboro, VT has an opening for a full-time classroom paraeducator beginning in the 2026-2027 school year. Candidates for this position must be willing to work with all students and provide social, emotional, academic, and some behavioral support. Candidates will also need to be willing to spend time outdoors in all weather conditions, be a part of a team to support students and colleagues, and other duties assigned by the principal. Flexibility, strong problem solving skills, basic technology skills, openness to taking direction, and a willingness to collaborate are all ideal for a candidate in this position. Qualified applicants for this position will have two years of college level education, preferably in the area of early childhood or elementary education or be able to pass the ParaPro assessment. This is a Wage Grade 3 position with a salary range of $18.96 - $26.73 depending on experience. 6.5 hours per day, 32.5 hours per week, 191 days per school year. Please apply via SchoolSpring.
