Academy School is seeking a dynamic, effectual team member to join our Supportive Teams for Educational Progress (STEP) team. Candidates for this position will be responsible for following positive behavior support plans, written by a BCBA, to support students behaviorally, socially, and emotionally, as well as provide some academic support in classroom settings when needed. Applicants with a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential, highly preferred.
Candidates should have an ability to support behavioral and social skill development in a general education environment, and strong communication, problem solving and collaborative skills. Previous experience with Applied Behavior Analysis in a school or home setting is highly preferred. The STEP Paraeducator position is placed on Wage grade 4 (range $19.96-$27.81), 191 days per year for 6.67 hours per day.
