Job Description
The Village School of North Bennington is seeking a full-time High Needs Teaching Assistant (Paraeducator) to work with early elementary students in both 1:1 and small group settings within a single classroom for the 2026/2027 school year. The Teaching Assistant (TA) will work under the guidance of the Classroom Teacher and/or the Special Educator to implement the curriculum and to provide educational and social-emotional support to the student(s). This TA will be responsible for accompanying the class to and throughout all transitions to and from the homeroom, as well as accompanying the class to all Specials (Music, Gym, Library, and Art).
