Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant on a flexible, part-time contract. This school-based position, located near North Bennington, VT, offers up to 10 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from now through June 10, 2027. Help young learners thrive by assisting with speech and language services in a collaborative and nurturing environment.
Key Qualifications:
Holds or eligible for SLPA licensure or certification Recent experience or strong interest in working in school settings Familiarity with speech and language interventions for children Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Able to follow supervising SLP's direction with professionalism and reliability Passion for helping elementary-aged students reach communication goals
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language support services to elementary students under the supervision of a licensed SLP Assist in preparing therapeutic materials and tracking student progress Support students individually or in small groups to foster skill development Document interventions and collaborate with school staff Participate in team meetings and communicate regularly with supervising SLP and educators Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school policies
