Aug 22, 2026 Job Description Caledonia Central Supervisory Union (CCSU) and its member, Twinfield School District, are looking to fill a full-time, Preschool/Kindergarten Paraprofessional/Teacher Assistant role at Twinfield Union School. The following is a detailed description of role, qualifications for the position, and benefits: Preschool Paraprofessionals/Teaching Assistants are responsible for assisting each classroom with the care, education, and supervision of a diverse population of young children, ages 3-5. This position acts as a support for the Classroom Teachers in both planned and free play activity times. In addition, the Preschool Paraprofessional/Teaching Assistant is responsible for the supervision of children during essential arts, meal times and rest time, and outdoor play. The position also requires that the individual in this role ensures that Vermont Center-Based Child Care and Preschool Program Child Care Licensing regulations are maintained across all routines and daily activities. This 1.0 FTE position is expected to assist the classrooms with maintaining a warm and nurturing relationship with each child, supporting an environment that stimulates curiosity and celebrates diversity, and participating in a dynamic, child-centered curriculum that is grounded in hands-on exploration and play. This is a one day a week position for the 26/27 school year.
