Job Description

The School District of Lodi is seeking an Educational Assistant to provide assistance to 4k through 2nd grade students and staff in the Lodi Primary School. The position will consist of 4 hours per day, 5 days per week, following the school year calendar. The successful candidate will provide academic support to students during instruction; this support can be 1:1, in small groups, and in whole group. This position requires the ability to support students with a wide range of abilities. The daily responsibilities may also include crossing guard, outside supervision, and lunchroom duty. Prior experience working with primary-aged students is desired.

A sincere interest in young people and passion for educating all students. Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as a member of a team, be open-minded, and value one another's contributions. A willingness to become an active contributor to the school culture. Ability to meet the needs of English learners/ESL License is an advantage. This position will remain open until filled.

$15.50 - $17.50 per hour
