• The Maple Dale-Indian Hill School District serves students in grades 4K-8. Students in our schools reside in Bayside, Fox Point, Glendale, and River Hills. We also serve students from the Greater Milwaukee area. As a staff, we pride ourselves on building strong relationships with our students, families, and each other. We are committed to unlocking potential in all students by growing intellect, building confidence, and strengthening character, together. Special education paraprofessionals are responsible for working with students in small groups and one-on-one situations in the general and special education environments. Paraprofessionals work under the direction of the special education and classroom teachers. Requirements include a responsible person with strong communication and organizational skills, who has a desire to build positive relationships with students and staff, and a willingness to learn and take direction. Other duties may include supervision of students. Additional training is provided throughout the school year.

Qualifications:

High School diploma Bachelor Degree in Education or equivalent education or experience preferred Eligibility for DPI licensure as a Special Education Program Aide is required
