Seeds of Health, Inc., a non-profit social service agency, is seeking a full-time Special Education paraprofessional for the remainder of the 2026-2027 school year at our Seeds of Health Elementary Program. We are seeking a dedicated, student-focused paraprofessional who is passionate about supporting students in the heart of Milwaukee. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the school through supervision duties, assistance in the classroom, and helping care for students.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide academic and behavioral support to individual students and small groups within the general education classroom setting. Collaborate with classroom teachers to support students' remedial and enrichment needs. Supervise students during lunch/recess and perform other duties as assigned by the principal.
Qualifications:
High school diploma required Two years of experience working in education, is preferred Experience working with special education students, is preferred Wisconsin DPI eligible to meet applicable certification requirements Strong collaboration and Communication skills
