Job Description
Tutor/Class Facilitator to provide assistance and oversight in GED exam/online high school diploma preparation and employability soft skills to out-of-school youth ages 16-24. Must be computer literate and basic math proficient. Will assist in assessment, monitoring, and evaluation of each participant to modify individual plans and goals as each student progresses through the program. Will assist in data collection and reporting. Must provide regular reports on progress and needs identified for each participant and complete daily case notes. Tutor may be expected to attend special events such as day trips and workshops. Position available in Opp, Alabama, Monday through Thursday, from 8:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. However, some flexibility is required to accommodate number of students and to attend trainings or other program activities. Must have the ability to manage a classroom situation and have a willingness to work with youth who have barriers to attaining an education and a job. Work is approximately 14 hours per week.
