Do you enjoy helping students navigate coursework, strengthen study habits, and build the skills needed for long-term success? We are seeking warm, reliable educators to provide personalized, in-home academic and executive function support for students in Grades 6-9 throughout the Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Paradise Valley areas. Our whole-child approach blends academic support with encouragement, relationship-building, and individualized strategies that help students feel more capable and confident. This role is ideal for educators who enjoy creating meaningful connections and supporting students not only with what they are learning, but also how they learn. Hours build gradually based on your availability and client needs and typically range from 5-10 hours per week during after-school and early evening hours. Local candidates only, please.

What You'll Do:

Provide 1:1 in-home support related to middle school coursework and assignments across core academic subjects Help students manage homework, prioritize tasks, and develop stronger organizational systems Support study skills, planning, time management, and assignment completion Reinforce executive functioning skills such as task initiation, organization, and self-monitoring Use engaging, individualized approaches that build understanding and confidence Foster independence while helping students feel successful and supported Communicate regularly with families regarding goals, progress, and scheduling

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Education AZ teacher certification Experience teaching students in Grades 6-9 Strong understanding of middle and high school academic expectations and student support needs Familiarity with executive functioning strategies and organizational support Ability to adapt support to different learning profiles Whole-child, student-centered mindset Strong communication skills and family partnership approach Reliable transportation for in-home sessions Valid fingerprint clearance card (or willingness to obtain) How to
