Part-Time Small-Group Tutor The Dream School House Alhambra, CA Job Details Part-time $18 - $20 an hour 16 hours ago Qualifications Mathematics tutoring Basic math English Working with students Literacy education Full Job Description We are seeking an organized, reliable, and encouraging tutor to support students in grades 3-8 with homework and academic skill-building in a small-group setting.
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 2:00-6:00 p.m.

Part-time Compensation:
Based on Experience Responsibilities Provide small-group homework support for students in grades 3-8 Assist students with math, English, reading, and writing assignments Explain concepts clearly and adapt support to different learning needs Help students develop organization, study, and problem-solving skills Maintain a focused, positive, organized, and encouraging learning environment Communicate student needs and concerns to program leadership Arrive on time and come prepared for each shift Qualifications Strong math and English skills Ability to work confidently with students in grades 3-8 Organized, dependable, patient, and professional Reliable transportation to and from work Prior tutoring, teaching, or youth-program experience preferred Ability to commit consistently to the Monday-Thursday schedule
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
