Job Type:
Part-Time We are seeking an experienced Math Tutor to join our afterschool academic program. The ideal candidate is confident teaching Algebra through College Calculus and is passionate about helping students develop strong math skills. Experience with the Kumon Method or completion of the Kumon Math Program is a plus. Responsibilities Tutor students in mathematics from Algebra through College Calculus Instruct and support students using the Kumon Method Grade classwork, homework, and assessments Monitor student progress and communicate with staff as needed Qualifications Strong math skills through College Calculus (required) Previous tutoring or teaching experience (required) Experience with Kumon or completion of the Kumon Math Program (preferred) Strong communication and organizational skills Detail-oriented and dependable Ability to work independently and as part of a team Perform accurate data entry and maintain student records Foster a positive, encouraging learning environment We are looking for a dedicated educator who enjoys working with students and is committed to helping them build confidence and achieve academic success.
Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
