About Us Nova Academy is a growing after-school and tutoring program based in Fullerton, CA, serving students in grades K-8th. We're expanding our 1:1 & small group Math tutoring program — both in-person and online — and looking for a tutor who can help students build strong fundamentals and confidence, from basic arithmetic all the way through Pre-Algebra, Algebra, and Geometry. Responsibilities

• Lead small-group Math tutoring sessions (up to 4:1), both in-person at our Fullerton location and online via video call
• Teach and reinforce concepts through the Geometry level, tailored to each student's grade and ability
• Help students with daily math homework and test prep
• Come prepared each day with a lesson plan using our provided curriculum and materials
• Track student progress and communicate with parents as needed
• Maintain a positive, organized, and safe classroom environment (in-person and online) Requirements
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Comfortable teaching math through the Geometry level
• Comfortable teaching online (Zoom/Google Meet, screen sharing, digital whiteboard tools)
• A genuine love for working with children
• Bright, energetic personality and a responsible, dependable attitude
• Team-oriented — values collaboration with fellow teachers and staff Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree (Math, Education, or related field a plus)
• 1-2 years of prior teaching or tutoring experience
