The student would like a tutor to help her build a solid foundation in math and reading. She is currently at a first grade level and will need to learn the fundamentals of reading and math. She participates in the ARC program, but would like the additional one-on-one support with a tutor. The student would also like to develop other skills to help in her day-to-day activities, including: telling time, counting money, understanding knobs on the stove, and measuring. The student's goal is to begin to read independently and to develop life skills that will help her with daily activities. The student is seeking 1-hour sessions twice per week during her availability: Tuesday & Thursday from 11:00 am

The student is seeking a tutor who can meet at the Madera Library. Qualifications You have experience working adult students. You have experience working with autistic students. You have experience tutoring or teaching reading and math. You are willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles).
