As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year, you'll serve full-time in a partner public school, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. You will provide individual and small-group tutoring in core subjects, monitor homework and class participation, and help implement data-informed interventions. You'll build positive relationships, coach students on attendance and behavior, and lead enrichment or after-school activities. Working on a diverse AmeriCorps team, you'll collaborate with teachers, receive robust training and coaching, and grow your leadership skills while advancing educational equity.
